The top 6 (because there was a tie for 5th place) highest-rated topics from phase 1 were:
- Preserving Rural Values in Rexburg. This included items like the ability to house agricultural animals and grow profitable or hobby gardens within City limits.
- Bike/Walking Paths. This included river walks and pathways in specific suggested areas of town. This also included a connected trail system across the city.
- Rec Center/Family Activities. This included more activities to do with children.
- Addressing the Housing Shortage. This included ideas like more single-family homes, and more purchasable properties within the City limits.
- Park Repairs. This included specific requests for park grounds to be repaired.
- Local Restaurants. This included requests for additional food service industry businesses in town.
