Rexburg is Family: Community Recognition Project
Rexburg is not just America's Family Community,
When we think of Rexburg as a place and when we're asked to identify what makes Rexburg, Rexburg...our thoughts always go back to the same thing: you, the community! It's not the Tabernacle or the Romance, it's not the historic downtown or the Teton Dam Flood, it's not the schools or the water tower...there is no specific landmark that makes Rexburg a PLACE quite like the people; you, the community.
And we're so proud and thankful for that!
The City of Rexburg is looking to recognize citizens for their good deeds! Have you experienced or witnessed someone doing something nice for others in town? Perhaps you know a friend or family member who seems to be always giving back. We'd love to hear about them! Do you have a neighbor who always comes to check on you? That's amazing! Let us know about them here!
Everyone needs a little good in their life. Help us honor those whose good deeds often go without recognition.
We want to shed light on the people who help exemplify our community.

Throughout 2024, we're looking for do-gooders in our community. If you want to nominate someone as a community member worthy of recognition, tell us about them here!

Nominate a Citizen!
We hope that in 2024, we can continue to recognize do-gooders in our community throughout the year. Is there someone you know who provides exceptional services to our community or individuals in need who is past-due for recognition? An outstanding teacher? A good Samaritan? A neighbor that always shovels your snow? A student who started a project to help locals? Tell us here!
- The nominee must work, live, or provide service(s) in the City of Rexburg, Idaho
- The nominee must demonstrate a strong sense of community and willingness to help others.
- The nominee must not be an elected member of government.
- The nominee should display an attitude of acceptance and unbiasedness toward all members of the community.
When nominating an individual, please provide their full name and general age or age range and let us know what they have done for you or the community!
