We would love to share more information about local businesses, though as an unbiased entity, that is very tough to do without displaying favoritism. We are working to incorporate a business registry on the new website for licensed and registered businesses in Rexburg and we look forward to the possibility of incorporating that feature (if our databases can play nice together).
To be clear, the attractions we feature on our site, we do so because they are either owned by the City or an affiliate of the City/County - this includes the golf courses, Rexburg Rapids, Rexburg Arts, the Carousel, the Museums, the Parks, the Romance and the Tabernacle, etc.
Our page does have a section on "area highlights" and we're glad to hear that you'd like to see more information like that featured.
Sell Rexburg better...A LOT better.

A city site should be informational and functional for the citizens, pull tourism, encourage new residence, new business and support current businesses to sustain employment. "What's New" and "Attractions" should be #1 and you should add ALL attractions, no exclusivity. Parks, Museums, Game Store, Historic Sites, Ax throwing, Rope Course, Library, Family History Center, Gyms, Bike Paths, Restaurants, Seasonal Activities, Rexburg Rapids, LDS Temple, Trampoline Center, Rock Climbing, Senior Center, Garden Centers, Clubs, Rexburg Arts, Martial Arts, Parades , Art-walk, Just Serve, Corn Mazes, Rodeos, Sports Parks, Rexburg's own Florence's Chocolates and Golf Courses. Include close by things to do as well: National Forests, Horseback Riding, Yellowstone... Images should be of things to do here!

Actually, it is very easy to not display favoritism. List them all! Rexburg has a lot going for it. I hope you choose to make new construction and attractions front and center, so when businesses are considering Rexburg they can see it is an enjoyable place to live and thriving. Side note: Posting just city attractions is a form of favoritism in itself, hurting the cities tourism industry. Change can be good. Thank you for considering.
